Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of transportation, logistics, fleet management, dispatch leadership, or related operational experience.
• Experience with construction materials, aggregates, asphalt, trucking, or heavy industrial operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize transportation and logistics for quarries, plants, and projects.
• Serve as liaison between plant operations, dispatch, trucking, suppliers, customers, and field operations.
• Maximize fleet utilization and manage carrier relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Lead dispatchers and allocate resources to changing operational needs.
• Promote safety policies and regulatory requirements (DOT, FMCSA, OSHA).
• Manage transportation budgets and analyze KPIs (on-time delivery, fleet utilization, cost per ton).
• Identify trends from data and drive process improvements.
