Carmeuse Lime & Stone Inc. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support efficient movement of outbound materials across multiple locations within the Lake Erie region and Northern Virginia.

The role collaborates with a logistics team to manage inventory, outbound strategy, and regional transportation networks. The position focuses on implementing transportation strategies that meet customer demand, optimize freight costs, and build strong relationships with carriers while driving continuous

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in transportation and/or logistics.
• SAP experience desired.
• Willingness to travel 10-15%.
• Degree in related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate customer orders and dispatch transportation resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Create, update, and manage SAP sales and shipment orders to support accurate execution of outbound deliveries.
• Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and onboard new carrier partners as needed.
• Oversee the freight payment process including review, reconciliation, and processing of transportation invoices.
• Drive optimization of yard operations through collaboration with Sales, Operations, and transportation partners.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance load-out capabilities, transportation efficiency, and operational processes.
• Monitor daily transportation activity and resolve service issues to maintain customer satisfaction and performance.
• Support cost-effective transportation strategies balancing demand, service, and freight expense.
