Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Central Logistics Capacity/Program Manager for AMR Logistics Operations in Austin, TX.

You will own capacity decisions across distribution centers and transportation networks in the Americas, turning data into actionable capacity plans and coordinating strategic planning through execution. You will build forecasting models and interactive dashboards, automate reporting with Python, lead cross-functional alignment with supply chain, operations, sales, and 3PL partners, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, capacity planning, logistics operations, program management, or a related analytical role in a high-volume, complex network.
Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous operational problems, build analytical models, and translate outputs into decisions
Strong experience in headcount modeling, volume forecasting, production/capacity planning, and transportation alignment
Experience building forecasting models, scenario analyses, and dashboards that support proactive decision-making
Fluency with analytical tools and BI platforms (Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent)
Proven track record managing complex logistics operations and programs
Strong executive communication and leadership skills, including presenting assumptions, scenarios, tradeoffs, and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners
Ability to drive decisions in a fast-paced environment; resilient and adaptable, thriving in ambiguity and high-pressure settings

Responsibilities

Lead headcount modeling, volume forecasting, and transportation alignment across AMR distribution centers, while managing program budget, timelines, resources, and deliverables
Develop forecasting models, scenario analyses, and interactive dashboards that anticipate constraints, and become an authority on logistics exception KPIs to enable proactive decision-making
Automate routine reporting through Python-based data pipelines and AI-assisted tools (LLMs, GenAI assistants) to reduce manual effort and speed up analysis
Identify and resolve supply chain bottlenecks, network constraints, and BAU/NPI planning conflicts; develop and implement mitigation and contingency plans
Lead alignment with supply chain, operations, sales, and channel partners to inform planning discussions, including weekly operations reviews
Drive standardization of team deliverables and reporting, lead process/system improvements backed by data analysis, and build measurement frameworks that improve the customer and operational experience
Translate complex data and program updates into relatable business impact, guiding strategic choices for stakeholders and leadership
