Job summary

Akima Global Logistics is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst for on-site support in Tampa, FL. The role focuses on ELMS program planning, reporting, data visualization, and cross-functional logistics optimization to support USSOCOM requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in logistics, management, supply chain or business-related field.
• Minimum 10 years combined experience with a DoD or federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management, IT, Material Management or Logistics, including 3 years item management.
• Minimum 3 years Major Command to Headquarters staff experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in material management utilizing LIS; DAU/WAU Lifecycle Logistics.
• Active Secret Clearance on day one of performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide ELMS program planning and reporting support to senior leaders.
• Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports using ELMS data and LIS systems.
• Perform cross-functional activities in implementation, material management, operations, and process optimization.
• Maintain calendars, project plans, and prepare presentations for inquiries and reporting requirements.
• Provide financial reporting information generated from ELMS to USSOCOM agencies (e.g., SOFM, FIAR).
• Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers.
• Monitor risk, improve workflows, and develop logistics plans for production, distribution, and inventory.
