Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, is seeking a logistics professional to lead transition and sustainment efforts for ELMS Warehouse, M&U, and Materiel Management modules in support of USSOCOM end users.

The role requires an associate degree, 5 years of DoD/federal logistics experience, and active Secret clearance; you will coordinate data loads, catalog management, and workflow optimization while collaborating with internal and external customers on-site at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate degree is required, including coursework in logistics management, supply chain or business-related field.
• Must have a minimum 5 years of combined experience with DOD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management and Logistics.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience as a program/project lead supporting implementation and sustainment.
• Must have a minimum of one year experience operating in a Logistics Information System (LIS).
• Having one year of SOF experience with knowledge of USSOCOM enterprise, subordinate organizations, and Service roles and responsibilities will receive preference.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Develops logistics strategies and recommends changes to processes to keep programs ahead of schedule.
• Assesses, manages, and works to reduce risk factors.
• Enhances workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
• Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
• Conducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill rates.
• Maintains appropriate records and prepares reports.
• Coordinates logistics activities with internal/external customers.
• Will ork under direct supervision.
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Typically requires BA and 0-2 years.
