Akima Global Logistics in Tampa, FL, is seeking a logistics professional to support DoD programs by evaluating lifecycle costs, coordinating with ICP personnel, and ensuring optimal inventory management for readiness.

Required are an associate degree in logistics or related field, 5 years in DoD/federal logistics, 2 years leading projects, LIS experience, and an active Secret clearance. On-site role with opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in logistics management or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of combined experience with DoD or other federal agency in financial management, program management and logistics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a program/project lead supporting implementation and sustainment.
• Minimum of 1 year experience operating in a Logistics Information System (LIS).
• Active Secret Clearance on day one of performance.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate lifecycle costs and trade-off parameters to optimize resource use without degrading readiness.
• Interface with PEO/PM Product Support Managers and USSOCOM directives to optimize inventory levels and distribution.
• Implement and sustain ICP item management functions.
• Coordinate logistics supply chain support for major systems with Government approval.
• Integrate supply, maintenance, spares procurement, and QA into logistics activities.
