Job summary

First South Financial Federal Credit Union is seeking a senior leader to oversee Consumer Lending, Indirect Lending, Credit Cards, and Digital Lending Services. This role partners with the President/CEO and EVP/COO to align operations with laws and regulations while providing visible, consistent leadership to staff and members.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, regulatory compliance, technology assessment, and staff development to foster loan growth and exceptional member service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related field; extensive experience accepted.
• 3+ years of loan officer experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with PCs and related software and office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and make sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute senior leadership responsibilities, including strategic planning and oversight.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to support organizational effectiveness.
• Direct consumer lending operations, including staffing, policy, product strategy, and service standards.
• Assess and implement technologies that enhance member experience and loan growth.
• Maintain sound lending and risk management practices.
• Develop talent pipelines through training and coaching.
• Prepare reports for the Board and executive leadership.
• Lead regular meetings and organizational initiatives.
• Promote a culture of exceptional member service.
