Recruit Staff Hire, LLC in New Orleans seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to keep cases organized, deadlines on track, and attorneys ready for what comes next in our office.

You will support a law firm’s litigation practice through discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation, with a focus on accuracy, proactive case management, and clear communication with clients and witnesses.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working as a litigation paralegal.
• Solid understanding of the litigation process, discovery, and court filing procedures.
• Strong writing, proofreading, and document management skills.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working with legal software, electronic filing systems, and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Manage litigation files, maintain calendars, and track important case deadlines.
• Assist with preparing pleadings, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, and court filings.
• Review and organize records, documents, and exhibits.
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and communication with clients, witnesses, and outside parties.
• Prepare case materials and assist attorneys with hearing and trial preparation.
