Job summary

Peptilogics is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all financial, accounting, treasury, and investor-relations activities. This lean, highly collaborative team requires hands-on leadership to scale financial operations as the company advances late-stage development toward commercial growth.

The CFO will shape the company’s capitalization strategy, oversee budgeting, audits, equity administration, and risk management, while partnering with the CEO, senior leadership, and Board on strategy,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of financial leadership in life sciences or biotech.
• Fundraising across private/public markets experience.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, licensing, IPOs, and strategic exits.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/economics; MBA/CPA preferred.
• Ability to lead fast-growing companies and build scalable finance teams.
• Excellent communication with CEO, Board and investors.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial, accounting, treasury, and investor-relations activities with transparency.
• Develop financing strategy and drive capital formation with the CEO.
• Oversee planning, reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.
• Build scalable financial operations to support R&D, clinical development, and future commercial activity.
• Lead development and management of budgets and annual plans.
• Oversee audits and timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Manage equity administration and stock-option accounting.
• Coordinate with insurers for risk management coverage.
• Lead investor and Board communications; help target neue investors.
• Lead transactions including M&A, licensing, and partnerships with business development.
• Provide financial leadership for long-range planning and cross-functional growth.
• Collaborate with CEO, senior leadership, and Board on corporate strategy.
• Support Legal, Compliance, and People teams on financial matters.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
