Job summary

Library Jobline seeks an Executive Director to lead the Arrowhead Library System, directing library services for a regional system and a multicounty cooperative. You will set and promote standards, shape policy, and provide guidance to member libraries and partner agencies.

The role reports to the Governing Board and requires broad vision, strategic leadership, and results-driven administration to advance public library services regionally.

Qualifications

• Completion of a four-year degree and an ALA-accredited master's degree in Library Science.
• Broad, extensive experience in all phases of professional library work.
• At least five years of professional library experience and at least three years in an administrative/supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Establish and direct the program of library services for the Arrowhead Library System, a regional public library system and multicounty, multitype library cooperative.
• Promote and develop standards, and determine policies, with direction from the Arrowhead Library System Governing Board.

Education

Four-year degree
