Job summary

Texas Regional Bank is seeking a Relationship Manager to grow profitable lending relationships under supervision. You will develop strategies, interview clients, determine loan needs and facilitate appropriate bank products while managing risk and ensuring timely loan closings.

The role requires 5+ years in business development, underwriting and portfolio management, with a strong emphasis on client service and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in new business development, deal structuring, underwriting and portfolio management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Proficient computer skills: Windows, Excel, Outlook, Word, Internet, and bank software.
• Ability to multitask, analyze and solve problems; strong judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to identify, prioritize and acquire high value relationships.
• Interview potential clients, determine their loan requirements and facilitate the sale of Bank products.
• Manage credit portfolio and monitor credit quality.
• Coordinate with Bank departments during loan processes and community events.
• Monitor loan applications for timely responses and ensure closings occur promptly.
• Adhere to the Bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support and promote the Bank's vision, mission and core values.
