Responsibilities

• Participate in strategic planning for the credit union and loan policy development.
• Direct the loan function including underwriting, processing, and approval of consumer, mortgage, and business loans.
• Set department goals aligned with the credit union’s business plan and monitor performance.
• Oversee underwriting, processing, and loan documentation to achieve high productivity with low delinquencies.
• Develop new lending products and expand existing programs to stay competitive.
• Coordinate staff activities, training, and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the credit union at external functions and support cross-department collaboration.
