Job summary

Crowell & Moring LLP is seeking a Legal Talent Acquisition Coordinator to coordinate non-partner legal recruitment and onboarding of clerks, associates, counsel, and professionals. The role also supports law student hiring and summer programs.

Responsibilities include processing applications, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and outreach events, while maintaining accurate candidate records and recruiting reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; equivalent training and experience may substitute.
• Minimum of two years' recruiting experience in a law firm or professional services environment.
• Ability to work extended hours, attend evening events, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Processes candidate applications, updates candidate tracking database and related reports.
• Schedules candidate interviews and coordinates interviews and candidate experience.
• Prepares and distributes interview materials and solicits evaluations from attorney interviewers.
• Coordinates arrangements for supplemental recruitment activities including meetings, meals, and receptions.
• Prepares candidate packets for review and offer consideration by Recruitment.
• Prepares correspondence including interview confirmations, offer letters, status updates, rejection notices, and internal communications.
• Posts job descriptions on internal and external recruitment sites.
• Coordinates conflicts and background check processes for new hires.
• Facilitates pre-arrival and post-arrival onboarding processes including I-9 and eVerify.
• Supports virtual and in-person orientation activities as needed.
• Coordinates outreach events and programs with law schools and student groups.
• Tracks participation in engagement activities and feedback from participants.
• Prepares and updates demographic, statistical, and recruitment reports.
• Maintains recruitment calendar of meetings and interviews.
• Communicates promptly with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout recruitment.
