Job summary

Marshall, Gerstein & Borun LLP in Chicago seeks a Legal Recruiting Specialist to lead recruitment of all legal professionals, including summer associates and patent agents. You will partner with the CTDO to develop strategies and oversee candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of legal recruiting experience.
Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Lead recruitment of all legal staff including summer associates and patent specialists.
Partner with the CTDO to develop recruiting strategies and staffing priorities.
Manage intake through offer, interview strategy, and onboarding plans.
Oversee on-campus interviewing, job fairs, and networking events.
Maintain candidate data and reporting in recruiting systems.
Advise on candidate pipelines and market conditions.
Prepare reports and analytics to evaluate recruiting efforts.
Update firm profiles in directories and administer Vault survey.
