Job summary
Slate is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to design and improve the Legal Department’s service delivery, focusing on friction reduction and scalable processes. You will own intake, triage workflows, and contract and knowledge management, reporting to the Associate General Counsel - Commercial.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership in legal operations or related fields.
- Experience in legal/regulatory/compliance environment preferred.
- Hands-on with implementing legal tech platforms.
- Strong budgeting and cost-control knowledge.
- Able to interact with executives and external counsel.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate the legal department's intake and triage workflows.
- Stand up scalable processes for contracts and knowledge management.
- Lead vendor selection and adoption of legal tech tools.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Marketing and others.
- Develop strategic plan and dashboards to guide decisions.
- Build and document contract approval matrix and playbooks.
