Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a competent Planning/Materials role onsite in the United States. Responsibilities include purchasing, lean initiatives, inventory reduction, and daily scheduling to meet on-time delivery targets.

The ideal candidate has a supply chain or manufacturing background with strong Excel skills and experience in Kanban systems. Collaboration with internal teams and suppliers is essential in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, preferably planning.
• Ability to read blueprints and analyze data.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excel proficiency and problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Kanban supply chains.
• US Citizen, permanent resident or Green Card holder for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for materials and confirm delivery with suppliers.
• Lead Lean Materials process improvement initiatives.
• Drive inventory reduction and cost savings through lean tools and supplier negotiations.
• Generate Daily Production Schedule to meet customer OTD.
• Coordinate schedules with outside suppliers and internal operations.
• Work with internal customers to prioritize production schedule and backlog.
• Monitor Kanban ordering system and adjust to demand patterns.
• Support Customer Service, Product Managers and Engineering as required.
• Resolve and address quality issues with the quality team and suppliers.
• Drive FAI processes using lean tools like FPQP.
