Job summary

The University of New Hampshire seeks a Leadership Giving Officer in the Peter T. Paul College to cultivate and solicit leadership gifts of $25,000–$99,999 from Paul College constituents.

The role collaborates with Paul College and University Advancement to coordinate communications, events, and donor engagement. The LGO will build scalable fundraising strategies, actively manage a diverse portfolio, and drive donor stewardship across the university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of fundraising experience or more years in a relevant field (sales, business development, account/relationship management, marketing and/or public relations).

Responsibilities

• Front-Line Fundraising: Manage and expand a portfolio of Paul College constituents capable of leadership gifts ($25k–$99,999); maintain frequent contact and build relationships.
• Conduct up to 150 visits per year via video, phone, or in-person; travel across state/region/US as needed.
• Craft funding proposals to secure leadership gifts and multi-year commitments aligned with priorities.
• Solicit gifts at all levels for Paul College; focus on leadership gifts to meet annual revenue goals.
• Assist Development team in achieving alumni participation goals and participate in key campaigns.
• Facilitate pipeline movement across development spectrums with colleagues to transition prospects.
• Qualify/disqualify prospects for leadership giving based on affinity and inclination.
• Steward donors to maximize donor potential.
• Utilize CRM and reports to manage and grow the portfolio.
