Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Austin seeks a Leadership Academy Manager to direct and oversee the Health and Human Services System's Leadership Development Program, including four academies, with strategic leadership, design, and budget oversight.

You will advise executive leadership, coordinate with HR partners, and lead a professional team to ensure impact across the enterprise while aligning with workforce development priorities.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading leadership development, organizational development, or workforce development initiatives.
• Experience supervising professional staff and managing budgets or procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Directs Leadership Development Programs and staff, providing supervision and ensuring program goals are met.
• Leads strategic program planning, curriculum development, and continuous improvement of curricula.
• Provides executive consultation and engages stakeholders to prioritize development needs.
• Manages program operations, budgets, contracts, and procurement activities.
• Evaluates program effectiveness and communicates findings to leadership.
• Performs administrative and special project responsibilities as needed.
