Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight years' related experience.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Ten years of progressively responsible leadership in workforce development or related fields.
• Experience fundraising and partnership cultivation.
• Experience managing programs funded by federal, state, city, corporate or philanthropic sources.
• Knowledge of WIOA, Workforce TAP, Workforce Pell, apprenticeship and related funding streams.
• Strong leadership, communication, fiscal management, grant writing and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to LaGuardia's mission of workforce development and economic mobility.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, lead, manage and assess non-degree vocational programs in ACE.
• Lead fundraising and resource development for programs and student support.
• Develop partnerships with employers and employer intermediaries including unions.
• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
• Oversee enrollment, marketing and communications.
• Set goals, metrics and continuous improvement for student success.
• Expand revenue-generating contract training and workforce initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and funding agency rules.
