Job summary

Sharyland Water Supply Corporation is seeking an Assistant General Manager to provide senior-level ownership of operational performance and long-range infrastructure execution. Reporting to the General Manager, you will help translate strategy into measurable outcomes and may serve as Acting General Manager as needed.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years in water/utility operations or engineering leadership (or equivalent).
• Strong strategic analysis and executive-level communication skills.
• Experience managing capital programs and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and capital delivery across treatment, transmission, distribution, storage, pumping, and construction.
• Coordinate asset management, budgeting inputs, and performance reporting for leadership and Board materials.
• Drive cross-functional coordination with staff, consultants, contractors, regulators, and community stakeholders.
• Lead with sound judgment, accountability, integrity, and a strong safety mindset.
