Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Twelve years in municipal or utility operations with senior-management experience.
• A Master’s degree is preferred and may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs utility operations to ensure safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective service delivery.
• Leads implementation of strategic priorities, business plans and performance objectives.
• Develops short- and long-range strategies and action plans based on needs and risks.
• Oversees budgets for O&M and CIP and monitors expenditures.
• Promotes compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements; mitigates risks.
• Represents BPUB with partners and agencies; supports community relations.
• Leads, coaches and develops senior management staff; supports talent planning.

Education

ABET-accredited engineering degree
