Job summary

U.S. Renal Care seeks a Director of VBC Market Operations to lead day-to-day performance of value-based care programs.

The role builds relationships with nephrologists, practice staff, and dialysis teams, coordinating with clinical, analytics, and other leaders to deliver improved outcomes and reduced costs. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in healthcare, experience with value-based care, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred (MBA/ MPH/ MHA).
• Eight or more years of healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in management consulting or process improvement is a plus.
• Experience with value-based care programs and managing physician relationships required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures successful roll-out of the VBC playbook with nephrology practices and tailors workflows as needed.
• Partners with Clinical Operations Director and Associate CMO to set market priorities.
• Maintains processes that drive effective clinical operations and solves market barriers.
• Collaborates with Risk Adjustment, Finance, Analytics, Product, and Operations Excellence teams.
• Leads Monthly Operating Reviews for key partners and tracks performance and issues.
• Owns P&L and performance metrics for practices.
• Manages bi-weekly practice administrator meetings and quarterly physician reviews.
• Develops agendas, minutes, and presentations for practice-facing meetings.
• Builds strong relationships with physician leaders, administrators, and dialysis teams.
• Acts as internal/external go-to resource for assigned partnerships; supports physician network growth.
• Navigates ambiguity and drives new approaches with internal and external partners.
• Directly manages an Operations Analyst (or analysts) supporting key activities.
