Job summary

GSK is seeking a Director of US Oncology Portfolio Delivery to lead a large team of LDLs and US program leads, ensuring timely delivery of oncology studies to global standards. The role guides resource planning, risk management and strategy across the LOC while maintaining GCP compliance and strong cross-functional partnerships.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in clinical operations within pharma/biotech, with 5+ years leading leaders and at least 5 years delivering US oncology trials in

Qualifications

• University degree in Sciences or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of clinical operations delivery experience in pharma/biotech, including leadership of complex, multi-site US trials.
• At least 5 years of leading clinical operations leaders in a high-volume, high-complexity environment.
• At least 5 years of experience delivering oncology trials in the US, including large site networks.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering a portfolio of oncology studies across multiple asset teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead LDLs and manage a large US delivery team to meet study timelines and quality standards.
• Oversee capacity planning, resource availability and prioritization across studies.
• Ensure completion of project management deliverables within scope, timelines and budget.
• Share best practices and standardize processes across LOC/region and on cross-functional initiatives.
• Recruit, develop and mentor LDLs and care for staff development and performance.
• Collaborate with local and central teams to ensure robust study feasibility and site selection.
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with external vendors for resourcing and execution.
• Forecast recruitment, monitor data quality and site milestones; troubleshoot where needed.
• Support quality monitoring and local audits/inspections as required.
• Stay current on GCP, SOPs and risk management; participate in regional/global projects.
• Travel as required by the role.
