Job summary

GSK is seeking a US Local Delivery Lead Director to provide leadership and oversight for local delivery leads, ensuring delivery of clinical studies across therapy areas to high quality standards. The role operates in a complex, high-volume market and requires experience managing LDLs, capacity planning, and cross-functional collaboration.

The position emphasises leadership, risk management, and ongoing development of LDLs, with travel as needed and responsibility for strategic relationships

Qualifications

• University degree in Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Biology or related fields) or equivalent demonstrable professional experience in the area.
• At least 10 years of experience in clinical operations delivery within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, including leadership of complex, multisite clinical studies in the US.
• At least 5 years of experience leading and developing clinical operations leaders or managers in a high-volume, high-complexity environment.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of LDLs operating in a highly complex environment due to scale and volume of studies conducted, providing training, coaching and performance management.
• Responsible for capacity utilization of LDL resources and for resourcing solutions including multi-country support by LDLs.
• Accountable for ensuring completion of project management deliverables for all studies assigned to the LOC.
