Job summary

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent with admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years in government affairs with insurance/regulatory policy.
• Proven track record in regulatory/legislative strategies.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Policymaker engagement: build network of policymakers to advocate GEICO's positions.
• Regulatory & legislative analysis: review proposed regulations and keep teams informed.
• Strategic monitoring & reporting: identify trends and inform leadership.
• Strategic support: develop policy positions and draft language for interactions.
• Coalition building: coordinate external resources and associations to advance priorities.
• Additional duties as priorities evolve.
