Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an accomplished Assistant Executive Director of Residential Services to guide residential operations and ensure high-quality, person-centered supports across multiple locations in New Jersey. This executive role combines strategic leadership, operational oversight, and fiscal management with strong emphasis on regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services, special education, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• At least five (5) years of progressively responsible leadership experience managing multiple programs and supervisory staff.
• Demonstrated budgeting, strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and organizational leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of DDD regulations, Medicaid requirements, and residential service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead Residential Services operations with high standards for quality and person-centered supports.
• Set strategic priorities to strengthen operations, improve service quality, and boost performance.
• Oversee admissions, referrals, and service coordination with DDD and Support Coordination Agencies.
• Coach and mentor Directors and Assistant Directors to foster accountability and growth.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, Medicaid, accreditation, and funding standards; drive quality assurance.
• Provide fiscal leadership through budgeting and oversight of facilities and maintenance.
