Job summary

The Arc of Cape May County in New Jersey is seeking a Residential Services Director to oversee its residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will supervise residential staff and ensure that services are meaningful, compliant, and person-centered.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, conducting performance reviews, coordinating with Case Management, managing site budgets, and supporting intake and scheduling while participating in an on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human services, social work, psychology or related field required.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings.
• Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience, with mental health and behavioral supports.
• Ability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends; participate in on-call rotation for staffing.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of residential programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Supervise residential staff to ensure meaningful, person-centered services.
• Coach staff through training and development; conduct performance reviews.
• Assist in developing services for individuals supported; support intake process.
• Coordinate with Case Management on medical appointments; oversee NJISP meetings.
• Oversee site budgets; monitor program documentation.
