Job summary

Brown University seeks an Assistant Director of the Kessler Scholars Program within the U-FLi Center. This key role provides day‑to‑day operational leadership, oversees a multi‑year cohort, and represents Brown in the Kessler Scholars Collaborative.

You will deliver high‑touch developmental advising, manage grants and budgets, and coordinate with Academic Advising Deans, Campus Life, and external partners to support undocumented, first‑gen, and low‑income students across the campus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive leadership experience in higher education program administration, high-touch developmental advising, complex case management, and grant/budget management.
  • Experience working with undocumented, low-income, and first-generation college students in an academic setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch developmental advising and complex case management for high-need students.
  • Lead administration and implementation of the Kessler Scholars Program.
  • Serve as liaison to Academic Advising Deans, Campus Life, and University partners to drive alignment.
