Qualifications

• Doctorate in Psychology, Behavioral Health, or related field.
• Three years of industry-related experience.
• Two years of full-time experience in post-secondary education.
• Collaborative experience with behavioral health agencies and related industry partners preferred.
• Experience teaching both traditional and non-traditional students and some level of post-secondary leadership or administrative experience preferred.
• Management/leadership level industry experience that includes supervision of direct reports preferred.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission of Grand Canyon University.

Responsibilities

• Promote and model a Christ-centered worldview in leadership and academic engagement.
• Foster community and professionalism among faculty, staff, and students.
• Oversee curriculum development and quality instruction for non-clinical programs in Psychology, Behavioral Health Science, and related fields (ground and online).
• Recruit, interview, hire, and manage non-clinical full-time and adjunct faculty and staff.
• Support program growth, budgeting, policy implementation, and strategic planning.
• Develop external partnerships with industry leaders to advance the college’s mission.
