Job summary

CyrusOne seeks a Senior Energy & Land Development Associate to partner with the Chief Development Officer and help drive growth across land strategy, power and energy, market intelligence, and development management.

The role coordinates cross-functional teams, analyzes opportunities, develops executive materials, tracks priorities, and supports development projects with analytical, operational, and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required as listed in the minimum qualifications.
• 3-7 years of experience in strategy, consulting, project management, or real estate/energy development.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
• Experience developing executive presentations, business cases, reporting packages, and strategic analyses.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to build relationships across multiple levels of an organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, or related industries (preferred).
• Experience supporting executive leadership teams or strategic initiatives (preferred).
• Experience within private equity-backed or high-growth environments (preferred).
• Financial modeling, underwriting, or investment analysis experience (preferred).
• MBA or other relevant advanced degree preferred (additional note).

Responsibilities

• Support Strategic Planning & Executive Support activities for the Chief Development Officer and leadership team.
• Maintain visibility into development activities across multiple functions and track milestones.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for leadership decision-making.
• Coordinate cross-functional project efforts and track action items and decisions.
• Assist in market intelligence, opportunity assessments, and preliminary financial analyses.
• Support organizational effectiveness through leadership communications and planning sessions.
