Job summary
CyrusOne is seeking an Associate to support the Energy & Land team in acquiring land for new data center campuses in Dallas, TX. You will help with market analysis, site evaluation, risk identification, and coordinating with power, investment, legal, and design teams through predevelopment activities.
The role emphasizes underwriting, negotiations, and project management across multiple sites, with a focus on timely delivery and cost control.
Qualifications
- 4-year degree required in business, finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of real estate investment/development/site selection experience.
- Strong understanding of real estate valuation, capital markets, and deal structuring.
Responsibilities
- Assist in market intelligence gathering and strategy development for Energy & Land initiatives.
- Conduct site review and risk assessment across regulatory, power, zoning and environmental factors.
- Coordinate land diligence with internal teams and external vendors through LOIs, P&S and leases.
- Underwrite preliminary projects and contribute to predevelopment budgeting and vendor management.
- Support cross‑functional teams in coordinating data room materials and development timelines across multiple campuses.
