Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks an Advisory Services Analyst to support projects in early childhood and human services, combining policy expertise with data analysis and project management.

The role emphasizes monitoring, technical assistance, and translating data into actionable recommendations for clients and programs. The position requires a Master’s degree and at least three years’ experience in early childhood contexts, with Head Start familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in early childhood education, human services, public administration, or related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive professional experience in early childhood programs; Head Start experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to aggregate, analyze, synthesize, and present research and data to inform decisions.
• Experience using web-based data management software.

Responsibilities

• Translates research into actionable, client-facing information and advises on research-to-program connections.
• Supports monitoring, TA, and continuous improvement activities for early childhood programs, assessing performance, progress, compliance, quality, and accountability.
• Aggregates and presents data from multiple sources to identify trends and support client decisions.
• Develops high‑quality written and presentation products, including memoranda, summaries, and reports.
• Engages with clients, program staff, government agencies, and partners to gather information and communicate findings.
