Job summary

Staples is seeking a Senior Director of Data Product and AI Delivery in Framingham to drive enterprise data and AI strategy across business lines. You will lead Directors and Managers to govern portfolios, modernize platforms, and deliver measurable value through responsible AI and scalable solutions.

You will partner with business, Product, Engineering, Security, Privacy, Risk, and Finance leaders to align investments with strategic priorities and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology or business field or equivalent work experience.
• 12+ years in data products, platforms, analytics, AI, or related fields.
• 7+ years of formal people management experience.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale transformation and product portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmaps for data products and AI delivery.
• Translate priorities into product portfolios, investment plans, and measurable outcomes.
• Own the data and AI product lifecycle from intake to retirement.
• Prioritize investments based on value, risk, and total cost of ownership.
• Translate AI strategy into production-ready applications for key workflows.
• Lead cross-functional teams and partner with executives across functions.
• Establish standards for data products, governance, privacy, and model governance.
• Guide modernization of data and AI platforms and monitor portfolio performance.
• Develop multi-year investment plans and vendor roadmaps.
• Lead vendor negotiations and maintain an inclusive, accountable culture.
