Job summary

Bass Pro Shops seeks a Director of Cloud & Enterprise Infrastructure to lead strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations across cloud, networks, data centers, and end-user computing. This onsite Springfield, Missouri role partners with cybersecurity, applications, and business leaders to drive modernization, cost optimization, and operational excellence.

The director leads a team of infrastructure professionals, drives IaC and automation, and manages vendor relationships while ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience.
5+ years of leadership experience managing infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise technology teams.
Experience developing and executing enterprise cloud and infrastructure strategies.
Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience managing enterprise networking, server infrastructure, storage systems, virtualization, and endpoint technologies.
Demonstrated success leading large-scale technology transformation initiatives.
Experience managing technology budgets and vendor relationships.
Strong business acumen and executive communication skills.
Cloud certifications such as Azure/AWS/GCP
ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or related certifications.
Experience with enterprise architecture, infrastructure automation, DevOps, and IaC tools.
Experience supporting regulated environments and compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the enterprise infrastructure and cloud strategy aligned with organizational goals.
Lead modernization efforts, cloud migration, automation, virtualization, and platform optimization.
Establish roadmaps, standards, and governance for infrastructure.
Collaborate with executives to support digital transformation.
Design, implement, and manage cloud, network, servers, storage, and identity systems.
Oversee Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud with high availability and scalability.
Lead capacity planning, DR, and business continuity initiatives.
Drive automation and infrastructure-as-code practices to improve efficiency.
Ensure security controls and compliance for infrastructure environments.
Manage budgets, vendor contracts, and cost optimization.
Lead talent development and foster a culture of accountability and learning.
Travel for business as needed.
