AEP Service Corporation is seeking a Director-level leader to govern the enterprise capital portfolio across operating companies and corporate functions. You will ensure investments are evaluated, authorized, documented, monitored, and reported per policy, budgets, and SOX requirements.

You will partner with senior leaders to improve transparency, manage portfolio risk, and provide executive-level decision support and reporting. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in finance, accounting, FP&A, capital planning, or related discipline with 5+ years in leadership.
• Experience evaluating capital proposals, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and executive decision support.
• Ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
• Knowledge of regulated utility capital recovery and governance principles.

Responsabilités

• Lead enterprise capital portfolio governance framework across functions.
• Coordinate board resolutions and financial materials for capital plans and investments.
• Monitor capital spending vs budgets and forecast trends; report to senior management.
• Develop capital allocation analyses considering strategy, affordability, and risk.
• Oversee SOX controls related to capital governance and ensure evidence retention.
