A leading affordable housing developer is seeking a Vice President of Development to oversee all project activities from planning through construction. This role requires a strong leader to supervise a team, manage project forecasts, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as experience in affordable housing programs. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college.
  • Experience with Texas or federal housing programs is a plus.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing issues and programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project development activities from planning to finance conversion.
  • Supervise and mentor Project Managers for high-quality work.
  • Responsible for development forecasting and modeling.
  • Interface with public officials concerning developments.
  • Oversee development schedule and costs with construction personnel.
