Job summary

Kittle Property Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President – Development to lead affordable housing initiatives, focusing on 4% LIHTC and bonds.

You will guide a team of Development Directors and a Director of Real Estate Closings & Entitlements, ensuring a strong, executable pipeline aligned with budgets and schedules. You will collaborate with the SVP, evaluate opportunities, manage resources, and advance developments toward closing, while maintaining compliance with funding sources and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in affordable housing.
• Strong leadership skills through demonstrated experience required.
• Experience identifying sites, obtaining financing, and closing on developments.
• Ability to evaluate complex development opportunities and identify risks/opportunities.
• Broad knowledge of community needs and intergovernmental relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop all direct reports.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new team members.
• Set clear expectations and monitor performance against pipeline goals.
• Ensure accountability for development pipelines and closing objectives.
• Review development pipeline timelines and provide strategic direction on priorities and risks.
• Oversee financial feasibility analyses and funding packages.
• Maintain relationships with federal/state agencies and external partners.
