Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder, within the College of Communication, Media, Design and Information (CMDI), invites applications for the Assistant Director of Advising and IUT. This role leads CMDI's advising, oversees the Intra-University Transfer program, and guides CMDI minors while collaborating with campus partners to boost student success and retention.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and three years of professional academic advising or related experience.
Master's degree and/or higher education leadership experience preferred.
Proven ability to supervise professional staff and lead advisory services.
Strong partnerships with faculty, staff, and campus partners required.

Responsibilities

IUT program management leadership including enrollment planning and policy implementation.
Oversee CMDI minors and advise on degree requirements and curricula.
Process undergraduate student petitions and advising workflows.
Maintain advising resources and campus partnerships; contribute to strategy.
Supervise advising staff and manage program data, assessment, and reporting.
Support student success initiatives, retention, and enrollment management.
