Job summary

The University of Colorado Boulder’s CMDI invites applications for an Assistant Director of Advising and Intra-University Transfer (IUT). This role leads CMDI’s IUT program and CMDI minors, supervising advising staff and aligning initiatives with campus priorities to support student success.

You will collaborate with academic departments and campus partners to optimize enrollment, retention, and graduation outcomes, oversee data-driven assessment, and ensure equity in advising across CMDI from

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional academic advising or related experience.
• Master’s degree plus six years of related professional experience preferred.
• Experience supervising professional staff or student employees acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for CMDI’s IUT program, including enrollment planning and assessment.
• Develop and update CMDI IUT procedures and admission criteria in partnership with leadership.
• Lead advising for prospective CMDI IUT students and degree planning.
• Supervise advising staff and advance unit performance.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support enrollment management and student success.
