Job summary

Alliant Energy in Wisconsin is seeking a Lead Project Manager to provide strategic leadership for complex construction programs that strengthen reliability, support growing energy demand, and shape the future for customers and communities.

You will conduct stage-gate and quality reviews, support governance, mentor others in project management, and collaborate with sponsors and stakeholders to deliver programs on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 8 years professional experience in program or project management managing multiple large projects.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex problems and implement effective solutions.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to drive results.

Responsibilities

• Conducts project stage gate and periodic quality reviews for high risk, costly, value-added, or large, complex projects.
• Supports program and project governance responsibilities and promotes PM methodology.
• Mentors others in the use of organizational change management within program and project management.
• Provides direct program management services for large strategic programs and liaises with sponsors and stakeholders.
• Escalates portfolio risks and issues and leads troubled initiatives back on course for successful completion.
