Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks a Senior Operations Strategy Lead to support the Air Force Civil Engineering Directorate (A4C). You will develop and implement enterprise-wide policy, analyze installation infrastructure, and prepare staff packages for senior leaders.

This hybrid role focuses on business transformation for AF/A4CF Operations, coordinating with HQ AF, MAJCOMs, AFIMSC, AFCEC, and installations while driving strategy, governance, and modernization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 15+ years in large-scale government programs.
• Retired/separated Air Force member.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineer Operations programs and installation sustainment principles.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and build consensus across organizations.
• Secret clearance required.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
• Authorized to work in the US or will be by start date.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement Civil Engineer Operations policy and guidance.
• Coordinate with HQ DAF, MAJCOMs, AFIMSC, AFCEC, and installations.
• Prepare staff packages, executive correspondence, briefing materials, and decision documents for senior leaders.
• Monitor compliance with CE Operations directives and evaluate policy impacts on readiness and resources.
• Support modernization efforts to improve installation sustainment, resilience, and operational effectiveness.
• Translate strategic goals into executable tasks, milestones, and resource plans.
