Job summary

The Department of Licensing (DOL) is seeking a Law and Justice Program Manager to lead continuous improvement efforts and coordinate with law enforcement, courts, and agency partners across Washington State. You will oversee program operations, develop statewide training, and ensure compliance with accessibility and equity standards.

Qualifications

• Nine (9) years of progressively responsible professional experience in administration, program management, project management, operations management, policy implementation, or related field.
• Experience must include supervisory/management responsibility for staff; program or operational oversight; budget, project, or organizational resource management.
• Ability to develop and deliver statewide training, education, and operational guidance to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage program operations, strategic initiatives, and organizational priorities to align with agency goals and legislative requirements.
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver statewide training and guidance to law enforcement, courts, and agency personnel.
• Ensure compliance with accessibility, language access, equity, and customer service standards.
• Research, analyze, and resolve complex operational, legal, policy, compliance, and customer service issues; provide recommendations.
• Develop and implement statewide policies, procedures, and process controls affecting division programs and partners.
• Review legislative proposals, fiscal notes, and operational impacts for the program.
• Influence public safety and regulatory outcomes through program oversight and policy direction.
