Job summary

M/I Homes, a Minnesota-based homebuilder, seeks a Real Estate Development Coordinator in Minneapolis to support community start-up, land acquisitions, and development activities. You will coordinate with Sales, Land, and Homebuilding, help prepare LAFs and approval packages, and organize land development budgets and costs.

Requirements include a BA/BS in Real Estate or related field and 2–3 years of relevant experience, plus strong MS Office skills and knowledge of the local real estate market.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Real Estate, Finance, Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 2-3 years of related experience; understanding of acquisitions and/or development.
• Knowledge of local real estate market.

Responsibilities

• Assist in establishing and managing the Critical Path for new projects.
• Assist in supplying the sales team with necessary information.
• Coordinate and manages community turnover to Sales and Homebuilding from Land.
• Assist in compiling and preparation of LAFs and internal approval packages.
• Assist in coordinating Lot Purchase Agreements, closings, and deposit requests.
• Assist in analyzing projects during due diligence and preparing for zoning presentations/public hearings.
• Assist in identifying and sourcing new raw land opportunities and collaborate with Land team on CMA's and trends.
• Assist in obtaining, analyzing, and compiling subcontractor bids and maintaining development budgets.
• Maintain Land Development schedules and files.
