Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of experience in land acquisition/divestiture and development is preferred.
• Strong computer proficiency and ability to report to senior investment committee.

Responsibilities

• Locate and track land development opportunities using GIS.
• Negotiate land purchase contracts and coordinate with outside law firms and in-house counsel.
• Prepare proformas with Finance and review development costs.
• Inspect sites and assist in due diligence for acquisitions.
• Meet with engineers, planners, and government agencies.
• Understand subdivision/development requirements and related fees.
• Review environmental mitigation requirements and potential issues with leadership.
