Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking an experienced land acquisition leader to drive strategic growth across multiple geographies. You will oversee sourcing, due diligence, negotiations, and entitlements while building relationships with landowners, developers, and authorities.

Experience in managing a team and interpreting market trends is essential to mitigate risks and maximize ROI in a dynamic real estate market.

Qualifications

Broad management and leadership knowledge to lead project or program teams.
Advanced knowledge in a specific discipline with broad understanding of the department.
University degree or equivalent experience with 6–8 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning and execution of land acquisition initiatives across geographies.
Oversee full lifecycle of land deals: sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, entitlement, contracts, and easements.
Develop and maintain high-level relationships with landowners, developers, brokers, municipalities, and partners.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Development, Finance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution from acquisition to project launch.
Manage and mentor a team of acquisition professionals and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
Monitor market trends, zoning changes, and regulatory shifts to identify growth corridors and mitigate risks.
Establish and oversee acquisition budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for financial discipline.
Review and approve complex purchase agreements and entitlement strategies.
Represent the company in high-level negotiations and public forums with stakeholders and government entities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
