Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a Land Acquisition Specialist in the Ocala, FL area to identify and evaluate land for development. You will build relationships with developers, brokers, and landowners, conduct market analyses, and support negotiations and due diligence for acquisitions.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience and strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills. This position is office-based in Ocala with responsibilities across local markets.

Qualifications

• Requires basic management ability to schedule, prioritize, coach and execute processes.
• Strong analytical thinking and financial acumen for land valuation and feasibility.

Responsibilities

• Identify land suitable for acquisition through market research.
• Develop a network of local developers, builders, brokers, and land owners.
• Monitor growth corridors and land-use regulations.
• Determine land values via market research and financial analysis.
• Negotiate price and terms with land sellers; collaborate with attorneys on purchase agreements.
• Coordinate land entitlement and planning with Development team.
• Oversee due diligence for contract land.
• Lead preparation of acquisition feasibility packages with financial analysis and site maps.
• Review purchase agreements for contract compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
