Job summary

Vizient is seeking a strategic sourcing expert to lead complex healthcare sourcing initiatives with a focus on the Laboratory category. You will negotiate supplier agreements, develop strategies, and drive value analyses to support client priorities.

In this hybrid role, you will collaborate with clinical and supply chain leaders, manage cross-functional stakeholders, and deliver measurable financial and operational value. Strong leadership and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience required, with laboratory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies that align client priorities with market opportunities.
• Lead the full sourcing lifecycle: requirements, market assessments, RFIs/RFPs, negotiations, contracts, implementation, post‑award activities.
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements and commercial contracts.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and market positioning to make strategic sourcing recommendations.
• Partner with legal, contracting, finance, and operations to resolve issues.
• Lead value analysis committees and align stakeholders to evidence-based decisions.
