Job summary

Gate Gourmet, a gategroup company, is seeking a Labor Planning and Forecasting Manager to oversee local labor planning and scheduling for the unit(s) in North America. This role focuses on long- and short-term labor strategy and rostering to meet production demand.

You will drive productivity, shift optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with Operations to ensure efficient rosters and accurate forecasts. Strong lean manufacturing experience and CPIM certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with a focus on Supply Chain.
• 3+ years in a lean manufacturing environment with labor planning, rostering, or related operational planning.
• Proficient in labor planning tools, ERP/ MIS, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead labor planning and rostering for long-term and short-term horizons.
• Provide input/validation for long-term production planning and scheduling.
• Prepare and maintain daily labor lineups and shift schedules (STLT).
• Collaborate with Operations leaders to optimize shift patterns based on demand.
• Develop and maintain a skill matrix and monitor FTE efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with union rules and labor laws; train department heads on tools.
