By Light Professional IT Services LLC seeks an Information Manager/Knowledge Manager to support the DoD Cyber Defense Command at Fort Meade, MD. You will help manage real-time information needs for cyberspace defensive operations and translate requirements into actionable, integrated solutions.

The role collaborates with a KM team to handle metadata tagging, records management, and governance across directorates, ensuring effective information flow and compliance.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge in Information Management (IM) / Knowledge Management (KM).
• Solid practical experience with SharePoint end users and Office products.
• Effective written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience handling FOIA, records management, and metadata tagging.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the forward extension of the KM team to enhance KM efforts across directorates.
• Support knowledge management across people, processes and tools.
• Act as Content Manager for specified directorates and translate requirements into solutions.
• Design and document processing to support operational mission requirements.
• Provide recommendations for process enhancements and risk management.
• Support FOIA requests and records management activities including metadata tagging.
