Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems in Monroe, NC seeks a highly organized Key Account Project Coordinator to plan, execute, and finalize large installation projects for major customers. You’ll coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, monitor milestones, manage resources, and ensure on-time delivery within budget.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, review engineering drawings, prepare quotes, and support site readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct work experience in project management
• Proficiency with project management software
• Experience with databases and operating systems in relation to third-party EDI systems
• Understanding of automatic door industry and related processes
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage new installation projects from initiation to completion, defining scope and success criteria with stakeholders
• Estimate resources, track milestones, monitor deliverables and address issues to ensure timely execution
• Develop and implement project management tools and reporting systems (e.g., progress reports)
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to schedule and confirm installations
• Oversee installations across Canada and liaise with end users
• Review engineering drawings and prepare quotes for tenders and replacements
• Collaborate with architectural teams and contractors to verify site conditions and installation plans
• Manage orders and change orders for doors, glass, and hardware
• Conduct site visits and prepare packing slips and packing lists
• Generate sales order reports and support bi-weekly team meetings
• Perform additional tasks as required by management
